quick fix halo-halo

i was looking for ube jam in lulu supermarket filipino section and i also found this halo-halo mix. i got so excited i bought a couple of jar. hehehe… it’s summer here and it would be nice to have halo-halo at home. i didn’t mind if i didn’t have any crushed/shaved ice. i thought that i’ll be able to find a way to have crushed ice on my halo-halo. we had this one saturday afternoon when the weather was really hot and we didn’t have any ac in the living room.

for a jar of halo-halo mix i was able to prepare 2 glasses (for k & i; m didn’t like it maybe because he was ignorant and he doesn’t know what it is). as for the crushed ice, i place a handful of ice cubes inside a ziplock plastic and covered it with a towelette and started hammering until it crushed into pieces. i topped the halo-halo with ube jam and vanilla ice cream (which i asked k to buy at a ducan near our place). i totally forgot to put milk but when we tasted it, it was sweet already and no need of milk. had i added milk, it would be too sweet already. hehehe…

i still have a jar of halo-halo mix and the next time i’ll make halo-halo, i’ll surely have leche flan and sweetened banana. mmmm… can’t wait for the next one. hehehe…
